There is a flare on the lights when I use the rear camera on my iPhone 14 Plus

why does my rear camera have flare on lights, but front camera doesn't, this is painful and poor. What settings do I change as I’ve tried everything.

True. That is lens flare, and it will happen with every camera ever made when there is a light source in the scene, or just outside of it. Lens flare is caused by light reflecting off the lens elements in the camera. Here is a professional’s explanation→What is Lens Flare and How to Deal with it in Photography
