Can I upgrade my MacBook Pro from macOS High Sierra?

Whether and how far you can upgrade macOS will depend on the model, and hardware release year / time of year, of your Mac. You can find this information in the About This Mac dialog in the Apple () menu.
If your MacBook Pro's hardware release year is 2011 or earlier, you cannot upgrade past High Sierra. If it is 2012 or later, please post the model (e.g., "MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)"). We can use it to look up how far you can upgrade. Please do not post your Mac's serial number.
