Hi, I have a MacBook Air and recently updated the to OS to Sonoma 14.6.1.
When I try to download the new version of HBO MAX - now MAX streaming app, I cannot, seeming that the OS is not compatible. Does anybody else has this problem, and/or know how fox it or a way around it?

MAX does not have an app for computers but you can use an internet browser such as Safari on a computer to stream Max. Also see information in the Computer tab at https://help.max.com/US/Answer/Detail/000002506 including the following excerpt:
You can stream on your PC, Mac, or Google Chromebook at max.com.

We can view our Max subscription through the Apple TV app on your Mac.
How do you do that? I haven't found a way to add Max to the TV app on a Mac. There is an app for Apple TV (hardware) with TV OS 14.0 or later but I can't find anything for the TV app on a Mac.
I also found the following from the Mac App Store when searching for the MAX app:
