icloud drive on windows creating gigabytes large log files after recent update

After the previous update to icloud drive, it is now creating log files in my appdata folder of sizes upwards of 4 GB every day. It is eating up space and this is very annoying coming from a service I pay for.

I moved them into an external drive to save space on my C drive.

Not to mention that it does not synchronize half the time.

Both google and one drive have apps that work perfectly fine on both Windows and Apple devices, I fail to see how Apple cannot get their application to work properly on Windows.

Windows, Windows 11 (22631)
