I had a free Apple TV+ subscription, which has ended, and I've been charged for the next month. If I cancel it now, will service end immediately, or will it run to the end of the month?

It will run until end of the billing period. So if you were charged on 8/15/2024, for instance, you can keep watching until 9/14/2024.

If you cancel during the Free Trial period, it will end immediately, but since you have been charged for the subscription, you can cancel now and still use the service until the subscription expires. It will not auto-renew since you have cancelled.
Keep in mind, after a free trial ends of Apple TV+, you will be automatically billed per month after.
