Keyboard shortcut for a link

I noticed on web search engines and even on some Apple community pages regarding Apple keyboard shortcuts that there is no information on how to insert a link into a document using a shortcut. So I am answering my own question to provide more support for fellow MacBook users. To insert a link using a keyboard shortcut use command K

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1
