15 pro max battery health at 98% after just 3 months?

I bought the phone end of may 2024. I checked it today and it’s at 98%. I charge the phone once or rarely twice a day. I use the 20-80% battery charge rule. Its currently on ios 17.6.1

Is this normal for just 81 cycles? I swear i’ve seen people with way higher at 100%.

Educate me please i’m a bit worried.

An average iPhone will lose 1% for every 25 full charge cycles. At 81 cycles that translates to 81/25, or 3.24%, so your max capacity should be 96% (because the display only shows the integer, not the fraction).

Thus, your phone’s battery is better than the minimum specification.

Battery health is expected to drop at around 1% per month with normal use.
