You can use a credit card to do that but you would pay interest on the unpaid balance each month to the credit card company. That can be very expensive. If you use a debit card to make a purchase, you have to pay the full amount at the time of shipment.

Are you referring to Apple Card Mastercard, a credit card, or Apple Gift card? When you say payments, do you mean your Apple ID account, for purchasing apps, iTunes etc.?
