iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain

My battery health is 100%, bought the phone a day ago. My battery drain super fast iPhone 15 pro.

FaceTime with friend: My battery drains 7% with 100% battery health and his drains 8% with 80+% battery health.

The battery drain even when I’m not using the phone and I’ve already disabled the “Background App Refresh”.

Hw come it drains fast and battery health is at 100%. Then if within 3 month if battery health more than 80% then we can’t check warranty but battery drain like battery health 70+%

Did you recently do an update to iOS 17.6.1?

It has a history of performing a lot of intensive housekeeping tasks in the background for several hours or days following the update, without you being aware of it other than the seemingly-excessive drain on the battery while you are not using it.

My SE 2nd Gen took most of a day to settle down, and even went from 80% charge to 21% while plugged in to the charger all the time.
