Final Cut Pro Delete Analysis and Optical Flow Files

I am using a MacBook Pro M1 with 16 GB RAM and 4 TB storage. Yesterday I just starting working Stabilization and my FCPX library went from 150 GB to 450 GB. I have been searching Google, ChatGPT and CoPilot and have not found good intel.

ChatGPT provides the following response, however I do not see option #4.

Safe to delete from Show Package Contents?

To delete analysis files:

  1. Open Final Cut Pro and go to your library or project.
  2. Choose File from the menu.
  3. Select Delete Generated Library Files or Delete Generated Project Files, depending on whether you want to delete analysis files for an entire library or just a project.
  4. In the dialog that appears, you'll see options to delete different types of generated files, including Analysis Files. Check the box next to Analysis Files.

Go to library properties. Modify it to set the Cache outside of the library bundle. Give the cache the same name as the library. In the Finder it will be next to the library. Move the cache to the trash. As you generate more files FCP will rebuild the external cache, which can be deleted as necessary.
