cellular connection to watch when separated from phone

My phone is in the lost and found at an airport about 1000 miles away from me in Europe (I am also in Europe in a differnt country - lost it while changing planes). I pay for cellular service to my watch with US T-mobile but my watch won't connect to cellular here. Can I fix that? Note my phone is NOT nearby

You'll need to contact T-Mobile and see if they offer a data roaming on the plan for your Apple Watch. Not all carriers do support international roaming on Apple Watch, and they may not offer coverage in the country you're in.

If they do, to turn on international roaming open the Settings app on your Apple Watch. Tap Cellular, then turn on Data Roaming.
