Why can't I pay more than the balance? Any other CC accepts it.

I have a balance of $394.67. The only pending charge is $7.52, yet the maximum I can pay is $229.40 (-$165.27). Do not suggest I wait 24 hours, except for the pending charge, I have been waiting 4-5 days. I should be able to pay what I want. If I want to include the pending charge, then I should be able to do it. I pay off my card every week, and this makes it impossible to do. My current payment is limited to $165.27 less than the balance. WHY? I have been using my Apple CC at my default card, I believe that will be changing.

Most banks do not permit overpayments because some states may require they pay interest on overpayments. It’s just easier to not permit an overpayment.

Do you have any installments outstanding or provisional credits from a return or refund?

If I have a pending charge on either of my two other CC's, I can include that in the balance without waiting for it to post. I have been waiting for 3-4 days now and still not able to pay off he balance. Like I said the balance is up to $394.67 with only one $7.52 pending charge, and it limits my payment to $229.40.

You didn’t answer any of my questions. What other credit cards do is irrelevant. Merchants can delay the finalization of a transaction for 5 or more days in many cases. There is nothing you can do. Nothing is due until the last day of the month.
