Focus settings

If I want to receive any calls or WhatsApp messages from my friend, do I need to select the person AND WhatsApp??

if I select WhatsApp will I get ALL WhatsApp notifications from everyone??

come on guys you can make this clearer

Why Is WhatsApp not available on my iPad? Why is there no WhatsApp on iPads we need it for plenty of reasons because we need it to talk to other people we can communicate with the whole family no matter how far they live in the planet we will still be able to communicate with each other for any type of reasons. so we can make status updates every single day and it is visible to everyone who is using WhatsApp. (the sad part is that it only lasts for 24hrs): i mean it only lasts for a day. Unless WhatsApp itself offers more granularity, then to the best of my knowledge all you can do is turn off notifications for the app in its entirety. I don't know of any way to drill down to just one contact within WhatsApp. You can of course allow phone calls from that friend.
