Whatsapp web app (Windows) stopped working when switched from android to iphone

I'm just posting this since an older post mentioning this issue got closed (Whatsapp App not linking to Whatsapp Desk… - Apple Community). Funny enough someone on April 4th (2024) commented on that post saying that he got whatsapp to recieve the error report, but here I am almost 5 months later without having the issue fixed (September 2nd)!!!! Please if anyone knows a way to fix it comment it down here. Thanks!
