¿Is there a way to connect a macbook pro A1286 21+34 ssd to replace a late 2011 A1286 macbook pro HDD?

Context:

I have a late 2011 Macbook pro with a 1TB HDD. This one is used by my parents for casual web browsing, email and Netflix.

My personal macbook pro is a Mid 2017 with 500 GB in a 21+34 pin ssd. I'm thinking to upgrade it to a 1TB.

Sooo.. I was thinking if there is a way to transfer the 500 GB SSD to the 2011 Macbook Pro, and if it would help with performance (disc space is not an issue so loosing 500GB wouldn't be a problem).

2017 MacBook Pros use NVMe PCIe SSDs.

2011 MacBook Pros do not have NVMe PCIe slots, and there is no way to use a NVMe PCIe SSD from a 2017 MBP in a 2011 MacBook Pro's SATA-3 hard drive bay, or SATA-3 optical drive bay.
