How to get notifications from only one app to come through with sound if phone is on vibrate (for emergency alert of elderly parent)
TL;DR: when in silent/vibration mode, how can I make notifications from ONLY one app come through audibly like how the FindMyPhone alert cuts through even in DND focus? The app [Tuya Smart] is for an emergency alert button for elderly parent. Vibration not strong enough on iPhone 15; it HAD BEEN strong enough on SE to feel in my pocket.
PROBLEM EXPLAINED: I have a medical alert button for my mom to wear. She has had strokes and is a fall risk. The button automatically sounds a physical alarm in the house in case someone is home with her, but not in the same room. It ALSO sends an alarm to my phone, letting me know she needs help and I can access who is closest to her if no one is currently in the house.
NEED: to figure out how to make the notifications from ONLY this emergency app [Tuya Smart] able to make notification sounds when they come through if the rest of my phone is on vibration/silent
• VIBRATION not working well: The system of notification by haptic vibration used to work flawlessly. I felt the vibration of the alert when the silent was on, and could immediately get her help. BUT when I got the new iPhone 15 pro, the vibration is SO MUCH LESS than the SE I had before.
• I am NOT feeling it vibrate in my pocket at all and have missed several of the alerts when she has called for help, getting them the next time I checked my phone, but that could be ten minutes too long in an urgent situation.
• Vibration SETTINGS checked: I looked at the settings under accessibility & vibration intensity and it is already set at the *highest* [if anyone knows how to supercharge the vibration that would absolutely help too, maybe not as far as Roy in the IT Crowd, but close lol].
Thanks in advance for your time and aid.
