Pegasus spyware hack email
I received an email in my business inbox with a PDF attachment from a hacker. The PDF was titled my first and last name and the subject line of the email was an address of one of my past clients. This is what got my attention and lead me to open it. The PDF contained a detailed message that they've hacked my i-phone with pegasus and are asking for money through bitcoin within 24 hours or they'll release a naughty video of my to everyone in my contact list. The difference between this email and others I've read about in the forum is that the person used my full name in the letter and attached a google map image of my clients house, listing their address. They are threatening to release a naughty video they claim to have of me looking at adult content. They claim the video is a split screen containing footage of an adult video I watched online, spliced against footage of me "reacting to it" in a well lit area of my house I'll be honest, I've looked at adult content in this manner and the way this letter was written, using my first & name and a client's address, it has me spooked. Sorry for the adult subject matter but is there ANY validity to this hack, considering the personal data of mine they have?
P.S. Even if this is a hack, I'm never looking at adult videos again!!!
