iPad10 - how do I make opening PDF files by default into books

I have a new iPad 10 that I got as a gift earlier this year and I would like to have the option to open in Books when I Air Drop a PDF from my laptop or phone instead of it automatically going to files.

My old iPad mini would ask me where I want to save the file and this new one just puts it right in files.

I cannot find a setting in the settings for Books and within the Books app there are no settings for PDF's either.

Any help would be appreciated. I can't stand having to take 5 minutes to hunt down the file I sent over and then manually transferring it to Books.
