What is the orange dot mean when on a call or text message. And how do you control that if need be?

new phone so not sure how it all works and there is a orange dot in top right corner when in a call or on a text message. Is this normal? Is this not safe? Please help. I am still learning.

Hi,


The orange dot simply means that an application is using or has used your microphone recently. It's absolutely normal to this during calls. You may also see it during messages when recording audio messages.


To check what application is using or has used your microphone, simply open control center and click on the orange dot.
