Lightening to Digital AV Adapter

Have a Lightening to Digital AV Adapter worked fine on 8/30/24, but on 8/31/24 Max, Netflix, Prime, Peacock everything freezes, except for the local news app. have 17.6.1 version on and have tried it on 3 different

phones and 3 different tvs with 3 different hdmi cables and it still freezes. Does anyone know if the

Adapter is not compatible with the new version on phone?

iOS 18 Digital AV Adaptor Issues (Lightning to HDMI) Since upgrading to iOS 18 my Apple Digital AV Adapter has started playing up from certain sources. I can’t play any content from BBC iPlayer or Discovery+ (via the Amazon Video app) something I successfully did before iOS 18. I can still play OK from Disney+, U, Blaze, and ITVx absolutely fine. I also receive secondary display warnings from Amazon Video, Channel 4 and Sky Sports all indicating they can see the external display. BBC iPlayer now refuses to even start any content, either streamed or downloaded. It mirrors the iPhone screen but pressing play or selecting a download is just ignored. Discovery+ (via the Amazon Video app) just mirrors the iPhone screen and when content is selected the orientation changes and a placeholder screen appears with a spinning symbol. Nothing else. Removing the cable from the phone allows these apps to function again. Any help appreciated though I suspect app issues rather than iOS or AV cable problems? Apple HDMI adapter works with iPad great, but lightening HDMI adapter doesn’t work with iPhone. Devices running latest iOS software. Apple HDMI to USB-C adapter to my iPad 10 works great for screen mirroring to TV. My Apple HDMI to lightening for my iPhone 13 yields nothing but a black screen on the TV. Any ideas?

I phone 15 HDMI connector doesn’t work with ios 26.1 HDMI connector doesn’t work with ios 26.1 Ever since I update my i phone 15 to iOS 26.1, the HDMI adapter accessory no longer works. In most streaming apps I have no sound or no picture or both when connected to my pc obs studio. My brother has the same phone but is still running iOS 18.5. The adapter works fine with his. It is not the cable or adapter or tv that has the issue. Is this a known problem? (It seems to be after searching the net but not seeing solutions) How can I fix it?
