How do I reset my Apple wallet passcode I forgot mine

The Passcode used in the Wallet app to view card information is the same as the Passcode used to open your phone. If you enter it incorrectly, you will need to wait the hour. Changing information in the Wallet app will require you to wait if using Stolen Device Protection and you are not in a familiar location.

After further review, Jeff Donald is correct that it only uses Face ID or Touch ID. I thought it would allow your passcode if that verification failed, but that is not the case.

Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode. Enter your Passcode and verify if you have the setting to use Face ID for Wallet & Apple Pay turned on.

Again, the Wallet doesn’t have a separate passcode. The Wallet does not require Face ID or a passcode to open. The Wallet app looks like this icon,
