Volume Control on Apple TV

I used Xiaomi mi box s long time. My streamer was connect to receiver pioneer vsx-323 and from receiver to Tv. The receiver had a constant volume of 50 adjusted and i controlled the volume through the Xiaomi remote control. An indicator from Xiaomi appeared on my TV.

Today i connected instead Xiaomi Mi box, Apple TV and i cannot controlled the volume through the Apple Tv as was on Xiaomi Mi box. When i press of button volume of Apple TV i see indicator of volume of my TV and not of Apple TV. My receiver not supported HDMI CEC and i need use additional remote of receiver for to control Volume. Apple Tv volume can work with owner indicator of apple Tv as a was on Xiaomi mi Box ???

The Apple TV box has several possible settings for volume control. Please verify the current setting, and adjust for experimenting with the other options.

Settings﹥Remotes and Devices﹥Volume Control﹥

﹥Auto (best guess from Apple TV software; should work for most users; may or may not work to your liking)

﹥HDMI (CEC volume control, if supported by the audio system)

﹥Receiver via IR

﹥TV via IR

﹥Off (no volume control through Apple TV remote)

﹥Edit Devices … (e.g. if you want to name your receiver for this menu, then you can)

﹥Learn New Device … (let Apple TV copy IR signals from a device remote, in case they use different signals)

Please try the ‘Receiver via IR’ option.

Verify that the TV is [still] set to output (passthrough) audio to the receiver, regardless of connection order.

Then possibly the receiver uses different signals for volume control than what Apple TV defaults to.

Try the Learn New Device configuration setup.

The auto function automatically adjusts the volume of the TV. Since the Apple TV is connected via an amplifier, this choice is not relevant for me.
My receiver ( amplifier ) not support HDMI CEC

Now I have to adjust the volume using the remote control from the amplifier.

Why can't apple tv control volume on its own ? and not by connecting to other devices ? like tv or amplifier

Apple TV connect to receiver with HDMI cable and from receiver connect to TV with HDMI.

I try this option Receiver via Ir. Not worksble.

The receiver does not recognize the signal from Apple TV.

I am trying to set and is not working well.

Have a solution to control volume as a xiaomi tv box. It look as like I connect air pods to Apple TV and can control volume.
