Can heat in Mac cause damage

When I open roblox my M2 chip 8 GB Mac starts getting hot after 3 minutes, i don’t know if the heat trapped in the Mac can cause damage to hardwares and killing the Mac. I have an old ipad that stays cool when watching movies, but every time i plays roblox on it, it immediately gets hot. Over time when i watch YouTube or do some stuff outside gaming like browsing, it gets hot too. And it slowly broke. Cant turn on.

Roblox uses a lot of system resources. Your Mac has temperature sensors and till throttle back the processors if needed to prevent damage. However, do ensure that you are using the Mac on a hard surface (desk, lap desk, etc.). If you use it on something like a blanket or soft couch, that insulates the Mac and can block vent openings, which can lead to problems.
