iCloud Storage for 2 ipads

So basically I had two iPads one new and one old. The old one had more storage whilst the new one lesser (5GB), as I tried to clear storage for my new iPad, I saw that my old iPad’s forage had turned to 5gb as well. Is there a way to restore my old iPad’s storage? Thanks so much

There is no iPad made by Apple with 5GB of storage. The smallest one was 16GB back in 2010.

5GB usually refers to iCloud storage which is tied to your Apple ID / iCloud account, not a specific device.

The storage space lives on an Apple server, not on your iPad directly.

If you log in to your Apple ID on the new iPad in Settings ➜ Apple ID, it should then be able to access the purchased iCloud Storage.

For your iPad's actual on-board local storage capacity go to Settings ➜ General ➜ iPad Storage.
