How can I stop my iPhone from speaking letters when I type?

My iPhone 14 had to be reset, now when I type, every letter is said out loud. How do I get it to stop?

Try going to Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Typing Feedback.

In Character feedback turn off Characters (and / or Character hints if that is on) :

Here's the info. on how it is set up: Use Typing Feedback on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

All the best :-)
