Problem With my Apply Pay "Apple Pay has been disabled because the security settings of this Mac were modified"

I am trying to by a subscription but whenever I try to put my card in Apple Pay in my MacBook Air it says "Apple Pay has been disabled because the security settings of this Mac were modified" how do I fix this?

I saw this same problem someone asked in 2021 with no comment 😨, hopefully someone can help me out.

There are a couple of fixes you can try. The first is to create a new admin user account. Once setup, try to added a card, but don’t actually add the card. Log out of the new admin account and go to your old Admin account, login and then try adding a card. When you try adding a card into your old admin account. It should ask you if you want to disable the other Apple Pay account. Say yes, and then proceed to enter your cards.
