Sonoma OS drains my battery so fast. Which lower OS is compatible for MacBook Air 13inch M3, 2024?

After trying to install Ventura OS manually, it says Ventura is not compatible with new M3. What should I do? What OS is compatible for Macbook Air 2024 M3? Anyone with the same case?

Sonoma is draining my battery too much :(( It's so disappointing that the battery does not last as advertised.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.6

You are stuck on Sonoma (or the forthcoming Sequoia) as Ventura or older is not supported for installation on the M3 Air.

What activity are you doing when you observe the battery draining rapidly? You may need to revise or eliminate the battery-draining behavior or keep the power supply connected during those episodes.

The user can not install an Older Version of macOS than the version this specific computer Originally Shipped With.

Normally, new computers come with a Special Build that contains special Apple Drives specific to the new hardware

Older Versions like Ventura macOS 13 would not contain these special Apple Drivers

Therefore, not possible to downgrade

The M3 MacBook Air was released in 2024

macOS 14 Sonoma was released Sept 26, 2023
