"Apple Mobile Device Service missing"

Hi,

installed Apple iTunes, Apple Music and Apple Devices on my laptop through the MS Store.

The AMDS is missing.

I asked the question before and got the following reply:

"Apple Mobile Device Service" Missing - Apple Community

Issue is that the particular folder is empty - "%ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers". So I cannot run the installation of the two drivers.

You are missing something in the newest installation version on Windows!

Thanks, Alex

I was able to find a more detailed explanation in this thread:

usbaapl64.inf windows driver not installi… - Apple Community

When following the recommendations, unfortunately I ran into an obstacle. The zip file does not contain the drivers, but there is a "AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi".

After installing it the AMDS is available in the Services of Windows and running.

But when you run APPLE DEVICES for the first time after that.

I shows a message "Uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support - Apple Devices needs to remove a previous version of Apple Mobile Device Support from your computer" and then problem starts again.

This is nothing the community can resolve, but apple developers must fix the code itself.

How can I report a bug?

Alex
