Thunderbolt 27" display camera not working

Mac Mini with Sonoma ..when I go on a zoom session the video settings only allow me to use my iPhone and not the thunderbolt display camera. Can't get it recognised in photo booth either. Is the camera broken? How can I trouble shoot?
