Continuity camera with Mac Studio M2 Max = does not work!

I have contacted apple and stayed for over an hour on the phone and they couldn't make my new Mac Studio work with my iPhone as the webcam. I tried everything. Both in the same Apple ID, bluetooth on and in the same wifi. Any idea how to make it work?

Continuity Camera on a Mac mini It looks like the Mac needs a "separate" camera before you can select the iPhone's camera. If you don't have a camera connected to the Mac, you will not even see the iPhone camera as an option. I have previously upgraded a MBP 13" to Ventura and the continuity camera worked flawlessly there. When I upgraded my Mac mini 2018 to Ventura, I could not see the option to use my iPhone's camera. It was until I connected a separate webcam which I use on my Windows computer to the Mac mini, that's when I was able to switch to the iPhone camera. Probably need to add that tidbit in the Additional Requirements for the Mac minis.

Continuity camera odd behaviour Initially when I bought my M2pro Mac mini continuity camera seemed to work fine, now it only works if either the phone is connected via cable or (very strangely) if I plug in another webcam even though my other webcam does not produce an image it seems to trigger something that allows me to choose the iPhone continuity camera in FaceTime, MS Teams etc. Does anyone have a potential solution that would mean I don't need to keep a useless webcam plugged into my Mac just to enable continuity camera on my iPhone?

Continuity camera not working at all Hi! I just purchased a new M1 Mac mini and I am trying to use my phone as a webcam, as I do often on my MacBook, but apparently I cannot connect my phone as a webcam at all, either with the cable or wirelessly. I have restarted both devices, have selected the Mac as ,,Trusted´´while connecting with the cable and still nothing. Both devices are running the latest software updates accordingly and all my devices are using the same Apple ID(iPhone 13 mini, IOS 16.2 and Mac mini M1 MacOS 13.1). Any suggestions?

If you open Photo Booth and click on the camera in the top menu bar does it show the iPhone as a choice?
