I am a Chemistry major working on the new semester. The year is now 2024, is there a shortcut option for all Greek symbols? Students use these constants often for their school work, it would be nice to have an easy option for equation symbols spanning a plethora of fields. I am specifically here to find the lowercase sigma symbol for sigma bonds. Thank you so much in advance.

You could create text replacements and copy/paste the greek symbol with the keyword. I'm partial to prepend my keywords with "&" so that they won't interfere with an actual word I may use. So, for instance, the text "&sigma" could be used and be automatically replaced by "σ" (or "ς", I'm not sure the one you want to use.)

If you need a lot of these often, you might want to just add the Greek keyboard to your list in settings > general > keyboard > keyboards
