Apple watch dings when fully charged

I have a series 7 Apple Watch and when it’s fully charged it dings. I cannot stop the dinging. It’s annoying and continues to wake me up throughout the night so I have to take my watch off the charger in the middle of the night. I’m reading a lot of reviews that say the same thing and I’m not sure why this problem hasn’t been resolved yet. I shouldn’t have to put it on silent mode when I put it on the charger and then take it off silent mode when I put the watch on.
