Delete removed application from launchpad

I just removed an app files from my mac m1 Sonoma 14.6.1 and still I see it's content on launchpad. It doesn't do anything when I try to open it and it's useless basically. It's not in the Finder applications or anywhere else.

How can I remove this icon from my launchpad? Where can I find the location of the launchpad items so I can remove this app from there?

Mac mini, macOS 14.6

I did solve the issue by dragging the app icon to the Dock and then right click and select Show in Finder from Options. Then I deleted all the relative folders and files and then resetted the launchpad with this command

defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock

If it's an agent, then it is probably in some hidden folder. Look in Library > Application Support and look for a folder for this app. Note that there are two "Library" folders. One is at the root directory and one is in your home directory. You have to check both.

To remove it from the launchpad, all you have to do is drag it up and wait for a "remove" button to appear next to it.

But I suspect that this app, and may be others that you thought you had deleted, are still installed and possibly running.

Typically you click and hold until they shake and present an X

some apps have official in-app uninstallers...

I never use the Launchpad to be honest... how about simply ignoring it(?)

You can always shtr down & restart the computer and see if it disappears if it is an issue for you.
