How do I regain control over my New iphone 14?

It's impossible to even pick my iphone up without one of the apps taking control, opening my browser, and redirecting me to some advertisement. It is impossible to complete simple task's without my phone being hijacked.

I will never buy another Apple product again, but until I can afford a new phone from one of Apple's competitors I would really like to regain some sanity.

Any help is appreciated. I have yet to find any real solutions. Is this really what Apple is selling people?

I want out!

Well, Apple has sold to over 1 billion users, and you seem to be the only one with this problem.

Is your iPhone new, as in purchased directly from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, or is it a previously owned iPhone purchased used?

While your description is rather vague, it sounds like your phone has “ghost touch”, which is a hardware defect in the display. If it only happens when plugged in you need a new cable. If all the time it needs a new screen.

If you purchased it new from Apple it has a one year warranty. Otherwise you will have to pay for the repair. You can contact Apple Support with the Support link at the top or bottom of this page.

Thanks for responding. It due to the amount of ads built into everything on the screen. While using apps like Youtube, rumble, X, nextdoor, etc. No matter how I hold the phone an ad WILL activate. Then the phone takes off and opens a browser with additional ads, the ads cause the phone to freeze and by the time I regain control I can't remember what I was trying to accomplish in the first place. It is relentless and beyond frustrating

Even when I carefully pick up the phone to ensure my fingers do not touch any part of the screen the phones screen orientation seemingly communicates with the app I am using and the app activates the nearest ad without even being touched.

At first, I thought it was the screen cover, but after going naked for a few days the phone literally opens ads that I have not even activated.

I see no way to change permissions. I want full control over when I choose to open a browser but I have yet to find a solution.

I have had diagnostics ran by Apple and I am told the phone is in "Great" condition.
