The Honda dealership service reset my car's system and is able connect their phone. We tried all the steps listed on the internet to connect my phone. I went on youtube too. My new Honda still won't recognize my iphone 11 and vice versa. It must be my phone...what setting is blocking the connection?

— Resetting Honda radio back to it’s factory settings
— Deleting all previous CarPlay devices from the Honda
— Reconnecting iPhone(s) to Honda’s CarPlay
The Honda, and others, may have some confounding indexing issue
Since iOS 17.6.1 There is a widely reported issue with some manufactures incl Honda and Porche. Dodge RAM seems to be fine, and maybe others too
i suspect Honda etc misimplemented some new protocol related to upcoming releases
must be aware by now and rolling out a fix, but I wish they would confirm

and then reconnecting iPhone to CarPlay
