Green Extreme Card Reader CFXB - Not Mounting to Macbook Pro

Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2019, macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68). I plug in the GREENextreme CR-CFXB card reader, but it is not seeing the card. I see a blue light on the card reader when I insert the card, but I cannot see the card reader or its card on my Macbook Pro. Thoughts? Suggestions?

What card? Some camera cards have proprietary formatting and do not show on Mac desktops even after making D.I.Johnson's recommended FInder changes.

If after changing the setting you still cannot see the card in the drive, launch the included Apple app Image Capture. It acts as a "translator" for stubborn camera card formatting without altering the card or its images.

Example. My older Nikon DSLR's SD cards do not show up in the Finder, whether I connect the camera via cable or insert the bare card. However Image Capture see and previews the images without issue:

You can also use to transfer images to your Mac.

It's a handy and too-often overlooked part of macOS. It even scans better that most software bundled with scanners.
