I got a 2nd generation apple pencil for my ipad mini 6th gen, and it won’t connect? i’ve fully charged both of them, and my ipad is updated to the latest version.

Was there a connect pop up after attaching it onto the iPad? If yes, tap connect.
Or if it didn't appear, try turning on the bluetooth before attaching. If that also doesn't work, try restarting the iPad.
