Why is there no helpful response to getting rid of "Why is there a red dot next to battery percentage on iPhone"

The question is as above but I don't see any "how" to get rid of the red/orange microphone spot next to battery %

A simple Q needs a simple A!

From how you asked the question it sounds like you want to get rid of the question.

If you really mean to ask "'how' to get rid of the red/orange microphone spot next to battery %", then according to Status icons and symbols on your iPhone (scroll to the bottom) you would have to figure out which app is using the microphone.

"An orange indicator 🟠 means the microphone is being used by an app on your iPhone."

It would seem that enabling Siri somehow does not cause the orange dot to come on, even though Siri must use the microphone to listen for commands, so it must be something else.
