How can I stop Music Recognition notifications on my Apple Watch?

Lately I’m getting notifications on my Apple Watch whenever I use Music Recognition on my phone. I didn’t turn it on and can’t seem to find a way to turn it off - can anyone help?

Go to the Watch app on your iPhone and look at the Installed Apps. If you see Shazam there as being installed, try removing it from your Watch. If you want to keep it on your Watch, try checking the Notifications. If you see Shazam listed there, tap on it and if the setting says "Mirror my iPhone", change it to "Custom" and turn Notifications off.

Hope this helps.
