one air pod louder than the other

Much to my chagrin and consternation I found that the rubber ear tip was blocked by the card that it was mounted on. The card had come loose and was blocking the tip for months. I never looked in the tip. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Right airpod issues since iOS17. Since the upgrade to iOS 17, my right air pod has a rumbling sound. Music or other sound is very distorted. When I disable noise cancellation the rumbling stops but I get no sound. A chat and a phone call with Apple were of no help. Shocking. For the record these are air pod pro model A2084. Version 6A300. They worked flawlessly until iOS 17. They do perform the same in my wife’s identical phone and hers is iOS 17 also. I think it bit the dust as I have tried everything I have been able to find including many, many hard resets including the 5 cycle reset.
