Itunes Losing Video Filenames on Import

Hello All,

Im trying to import some TV show episodes I have ripped from DVDs, but when I import the video file, iTunes isnt showing the file description, so I dont know the name of the episode.

For example, as below, I'm trying to import an episode of One Tree Hill into itunes. I have the file saved on my desktop, ripped from the DVD and called "OTH S07E011".

When I drag and drop that into itunes, the video appears as a thumbnail but there is no file name or description? Its just a thumbnail with the length of the video.

I have tried toggling the "keep itunes media organised". No change to the dispaly in itunes, but if I check this box "on", then itunes renames my file in the media folder location, and removes all the filename?!

This hasnt been a problem for other shows, they all imported and displayed fine, does anyone know what might be the cause or how I fix it?

Thanks
