Text message not delivered via Mac

I send my texts via iPhone with no problem. I cannot do so on my Mac. I get the message that the message was not delivered. I have gone through the list of corrective actions without success.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.6

Not sure what corrective actions you have taken, but

  • Are you signed into iMessage on both devices using the same Apple ID?
  • Have you set up Text Message forwarding from this Support Article?
