On a macbook you can use the search function to look for any keyword and it will show you the files that contain those keywords, can you do the same on an iPad?

Unless I'm missing something it doesn't search through "Files".
I have a bunch of searchable pdf's, and I need to find information using a keyword, I know I can search individual pdf's but what I need is an ability to find specific pdf files that contain certain keywords. It's super easy on a mac, but I can't seem to be able to do it on an iPad.
Can I search for keywords on my iPad like on a MacBook?
