It doesn’t matter if you have auto update on or off
Since my last update, my iPhone 11:11 stutters speech to text. I’ve had to change my logon and password 10 times. My husband is a software engineer and tells me to keep it turned off, but if you’re logged into the cloud, it will push an update even if your machine is too old to handle it. I caught Covid eye and went blind, and my only good eye and my older Mac mini was very visually impaired friendly. It got an update. They wouldn’t allow my expensive microphone to work, keyboard did gibberish along with mouse. And since I was connected to the cloud, the only thing that I could use under horrible ice strain was the onscreen keyboard with a expensive mouse that just wouldn’t work right and it took me forever to do anything. We got new Mac minis and found that if you have the iCloud on they can push the latest version on you , whether you like it or not. I have seen people use Apple computers that look like toasters since 91. I just pulled out an iPod that has no chip and is not supposed to work like a phone and not meant for any services, but I constantly get the message to sign in – sign in for what?
