Outlook.com not an option for modern authentication on Mac Apple Email

According to Microsoft my Apple Mail accounts need to be set up under Outlook.com for Modern Authentication purposes. I was able to delete my hotmail account from both my iphone and ipad and re-add them in Mail Accounts under Outlook.com. My new 2024 Mac Air does not give me the option of Outlook.com when I delete my hotmail and try to add it back under Outlook.com. I have tried clearing my history, rebooting, downloading Outlook.com to my Mac but I still don't get the option to delete Hotmail and re-add it under Outlook.com. Microsoft is going to kick me out of my account on my Mac on Sept. 15, 2024 if I have not switched over my hotmail to Outlook.com, any idea how I can fix this?
