How to stream Lossless music over Wifi?

So I was wondering if there is any way of prioritizing playing my music with Lossless quality over wifi even if the music is downloaded? I don't have enough storage on my phone to keep all my music downloaded with Lossless quality. But what happens when I try to play a song that I have downloaded while connected to wifi, it uses the downloaded quality. Which instead is set to high-quality. However, I would still like to enjoy Lossless quality while on wifi, what should I do?

Please let me know.

Thank you!

Seems you need to be a "Music" Subscriber, and have plenty of wi-fi data available, in order to do this.

From Apple Support's linked article below:

"In the Music app Apple Music subscribers can access millions of tracks encoded using lossless audio compression."

and

"Streaming lossless audio over a cellular or Wi-Fi network consumes significantly more data. And downloading lossless audio uses significantly more space on your device. Higher resolutions use more data than lower ones."

NB: Your "Settings" screenshot says:

"Content downloaded previously will continue to play in the originally downloaded resolution".

It may be possible to store lossless music on a computer (or it's external storage device) and stream it to your iPhone on the same network.

Apple Support's article: View albums, playlists, and more in Music on iPhone - Apple Support

says:

Play music shared on a nearby computer

If a computer on your network shares music through Home Sharing, you can stream its music to your iPhone.

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings  > Music, tap Sign In below Home Sharing, then sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Open the Music app , go to Library > Home Sharing, then choose a shared library.
