Apple Watch Bands for Series 10 Size Question

I watched the Apple show (lol) and pre-ordered the Apple Watch 10 in what is now being called the "Medium Size" - mainly because if I understand what I have seen/read the screen should be about the same size as my current Apple Watch Series 8 (larger size) which I am comfortable with. (Don't need the Ultra size screen.) I have a collection of Apple Watch bands that fit on my "Larger size" Apple Watch and I would think they will work on the smaller size of the Apple Watch 10. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

If you had the larger Watch 8, the bands should be compatible with the large size Watch 10. If you had the smaller Watch 8, the band should be compatible with the smaller Watch 10.

This is pretty much what has happened every year.

I thought I heard that the older bands (Series 8) would not be compatible with the newer (series 10) watch. But... I ordered the wrong sized band for myself and my Series 8 band fits. I went from larger 8 to larger 10, and I can verify the bands are interchangeable.

Do you mean that your band from a pervious Watch is too big? Or do you mean that the band is too big for your wrist, which is an entirely different question than the subject of this thread.
