ITVx issue with Apple 4K TV 3rd Generation
Is anyone else having this issue? The ITVx app stops working after around 20-30 minutes. The only fix is to either delete and reload the IYVx app or to restart the Apple TV. Either way, the fix only lasts for around 20-30 minutes. The issue is an error message (image below) which leads to the app unable to play any content at all.
I contacted Apple who just told me to reset the Apple box (which would mean me having to sign-in again to every app, redo my settings and of course lose all of my saved content etc.) and if that didn’t solve the issue then it would not be Apple’s problem but an issue with the ITVx developers. I followed Apple’s instructions which did not fix the issue so, I called ITVx and they were very helpful. They took a lot of details from me including my Apple TV box details etc. They then went away and tried to replicate the issue and came back to me within 24 hours! Unfortunately, they couldn’t replicate the issue which tells them that it is actually a manufacturer’s problem, ie Apple’s.
Has anyone else been having this issue and been able to fix it?
