Refurbished iPad 7th Generation Losing Charge Fast and Overheating

I just got a refurbished iPad 7th generation and it’s already losing charge fast and getting hot quickly, I haven’t barely used it maybe 30 minutes just setting everything up. Anyone else have this issue?

When I’m just browsing or doing other normal activities not gaming it starts to get warm. Im using the original cable and a 20w apple charger. On top of that, the battery drains very fast. iPad temperature too hot Every time I charge my iPad, the back of it becomes hot and it charges really slowly. The solution Apple gave me was either to send it for repair which might cost me about $800 or get a new one. This iPad is less than 2 years.

Where did you get the iPad from?

Apple refurbished devices are covered by Apple warranty.

If you bought it from somewhere else, return it for a refund.

I got it off of Walmart.com
