External monitor displays text blurry

I have a 14-inch Macbook Pro M1 Pro and I decided to get myself a home monitor for my workstation.

I got this Asus ProArt Display, thinking it would look great, but text does not look nice and crispy, especially when someone is sharing a presentation on Webex. I have to move the meeting to my mac.

You can see the screen shot of my home display settings here.

This monitor claims that the USB C ports doubles as a DisplayPort. I've tried connecting my computer with

  • USB C to USB C
  • HDMI to HDMI
  • DisplayPart to USB C

With all the same results, blurry and non crispy text.

When I go into the office and use the monitor there, which is a 31 inch Samsung (image below), I have zero issues with the text looking blurry, it looks freaking great.

They share the same resolution! I don't know what is happening, but this blurry text is driving me nuts. I spent 300 on this thing, I would think it would not be an issue.

Thoughts?
